“A fight between rival groups of black and Latino students at Locke High School quickly escalated into a campus-wide melee Friday, with as many as 600 students brawling until police restored calm with billy clubs.” ( L.A. Times, May 10, 2008)
“Overwhelmed school officials called Los Angeles police for help but students and faculty said it took half an hour before dozens of officers (one source stated 110), many in riot gear, restored order.”
“In recent years, melees have broken out periodically at many campuses with a black and Latino presence, including Los Angeles, Lynwood and Compton. There have been fights between Latinos and Armenians in other areas that led to campus lockdowns.” (just like in prison)
Violence between ethnic groups has been a major problem for decades in California. Now it’s Latinos (many illegal) vs. those who aren’t. In a number of high schools in the area, fights between blacks and Latinos are a frequent occurrence.
During George Bush’s term in office multiculturalism has been pushed on America by the corporate and government alliance and that Orwellian slogan repeated in the media 24 and 7, “Diversity is our Strength.” Guess what. It isn’t. Not without orderly, legal immigration and assimilation.
And now we are witnessing, in areas of our nation that have a majority Latino population, including many illegals, a preview of the turmoil heading our way in a multicultural North America, where large, diverse ethnic groups maintain a separate culture and language and have no allegiance to a corporate government running a continent with no internal borders . No more melting pot. Multiculturalism is being used as a way of breaking up the unity among Americans in order to benefit North American transnational corporations that seek to implement this continental trading state and a free flow of diverse, cheap labor, especially from Mexico.
Those living on the continent must learn to “think of themselves as North Americans.” They will be instant citizens, relatively speaking, without a common history, beliefs, culture or language. But the good part (for CEOs) is that wages in North America will be lowered and benefits will be rare if offered at all and many jobs will be temporary (think of an extreme version of Wal-Mart).
Most Mexicans come here for jobs and others with criminal intent. They don’t care to learn English or assimilate. A 2002 poll taken in Mexico found that 58 percent of Mexicans believe that the American Southwest belongs to them and they do not need permission to cross the border into the United States.
Instead, the new immigrants, some 20 million strong, have latched onto the Reconquista theme, a movement to retake the American Southwest (and beyond) by demographic dominance. Mexicans and Mexican/Americans talk openly about this; in schools, in newspapers, magazines, marches and with bumper stickers.
Jorge Ramos, a Mexican national who has been the anchorman for Univision’s Noticieros news from Miami since 1986, constantly says that Mexicans are taking over and there is nothing we can do about it.
According to Ramos: “…the United States is undergoing a true demographic revolution. Some like to call it ‘La Reconquista.’…”
And this: “But while no fighting is taking place on the military or legal fronts, there is fighting going on culturally. It’s the Reconquest. The Latinos are culturally reconquering lands that once were part of the Spanish empire. “(For more, see this blog, What Mexicans want from America: The Message is Loud and Clear, Dec. 15, 2007.)
A multicultural society that lacks purpose, identity or ethical values, and is forced on the citizens of America, will end in the Balkanization of our nation and close out the final chapter of the American dream.
