We have up to 20 million illegal aliens in the United States and a massive Mexican drug network operating in our nation plus a million violent gang members from coast to coast and President Obama said he doesn’t have any interest “in militarizing the border.” A note to the President. Mexico already has. He also said:
“We’re going to examine whether and if National Guard deployments would make sense and under what circumstances they would make sense.” CNN, 3/12/09. Some good reasons are below.
Twelve decapitated bodies were found strewn around the Mexican town of Chilpancingo, a short drive from Acapulco. Nine headless bodies were “yards from where the Governor of Guerrero state was later to participate in a religious procession. A bag containing their heads, some gagged with tape, was found nearby, with a sign declaring: ‘For every one of mine you kill, I will kill ten.'” Eight of the dead, some who were tortured, were Mexican soldiers.
“In an apartment near Birmingham, Ala., police found five men with their throats slit in August (2008). They had apparently been tortured with electric shocks before being killed in a murder-for-hire orchestrated by a Mexican drug organization over a debt of about $400,000.
“In Phoenix, 150 miles north of the Mexican border, police have reported a sharp increase in kidnappings and home invasions, with about 350 each year, and say the majority were committed at the behest of the Mexican drug gangs.”
Atlanta has earned the title of “the new Southwest border” by drug officials. Agents have stated that they haven’t “seen such brutality since the ‘Miami Vice’ years of the 1980s.”
“Last summer, Atlanta-area police found a Dominican man who had been beaten, bound, gagged and chained to a wall in a quiet, middle-class neighborhood in Lilburn, Ga. The 31-year-old Rhode Island resident owed $300,000 dollars to Mexico’s Gulf Cartel. The Gulf Cartel, based in Matamoros, just south of the Mexican border, is one of the most ruthless of the Mexican organizations that deal drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and heroin.”
The Mexican drug cartels have had an open borders policy courtesy of George Bush for the last eight years, resulting in the establishment of drug operations in “at least 230 U.S. cities, according to the Jusice Department’s National Drug Intelligence Center.” And, of course, up to 20 million illegals are now present in our nation.
President Obama should take action now by placing “armed” troops on our border with Mexico to stop the flow of illegals, members of the drug cartels, potential terrorists and other criminals. They should have clear rules of engagement and the authority to use deadly force if necessary.
Roger Rufe, the Homeland Security’s head of operations, in agreement with the president, said, “now is not the time to militarize the southwestern border with Mexico despite drug violence just inside Mexico that threatens to migrate across the border.”
Their plan “includes–as a last resort–deploying military personnel and equipment to the region if Homeland Security Department agencies should be overwhelmed…”
Well, the Mexican drug violence has been going on in American cities for some time now so it’s obvious they can’t handle the situation. And we’ve had that massive number of illegals present in this country, with a significant number of them in gangs committing crimes, including murder. In fact, many more Americans have been killed by illegal aliens since 9/11 than all American servicemen and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. See this blog, archives:

Bush Responsible for American Deaths by Illegal Aliens, April 15, 2007
Bush refused to carry out his oath of office, Article IV, section 4 of the U.S. Constitution:
“The United States shall guarantee to every state in this Union a Republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and, on application of the legislature, or of the Executive (when the legislative cannot be convened), against domestic violence.”
The reason. He wants the borders between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada open to the free flow of commerce and people, cheap labor that continues to lower wages in our nation and take jobs that Americans will do. This is essential in order to complete the North American Community, an economic region run by corporations through bureaucracies and permanent institutions, the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC), for example.
Obama has a duty to defend America and its citizens, not carry out the Bush plan to bring globalization, democracy and free trade to Iraq and Afghanistan. Does he hesitate because ethno-centric racist groups in America, such as La Raza (the Race), don’t want troops on the border, slowing down the free flow of illegals? They do represent a lot of votes and he did make promises during the campaign.
Will he take the necessary action and uphold the Constitution or will he repeat the inaction of his predecessor?
