Before President Obama took office, he met with President Bush and agreed to continue the integration of North America for the corporations of Canada, Mexico and the United States. It’s the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) but without the name. The American people opposed it so the name won’t be mentioned anymore. The goal, though, is still a North American Community, with initial governing institutions. The road map is the Council on Foreign Relations plan for Building a North American Community. See Barack Obama’s order to install a North American perimeter as the final step for continental integration.
Obama also agreed to continue Bush’s announced (Sept. 23, 2008) Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas (PPA), another try at the FTAA, the Free Trade Area of the Americas. It would be a commercial region of 34 nations, and integrated under the rules of a trade agreement. It would be competing with the European Union.
Hillary Clinton at the Pathways to Prosperity Ministerial in San Salvador, El Salvador on May 31, 2009, said:
“President Obama has emphasized that it’s not important whether ideas come from one party or another, so long as they move us in the right direction. This meeting builds on the work of the previous U.S. administration (Bush), but the President and I are also committed to re-launching Pathways to Prosperity, and expanding its work to spread the benefits of economic recovery, growth, and open markets to the most vulnerable and marginalized citizens of our region.
“To achieve the shared prosperity we seek, we must integrate our commitment to democracy and open markets with an equal commitment to inclusion.”
When all the dust settles, North America would be integrated with South America, Central America and the Caribbean. The Secretariat of the “Americas” would most likely go to Miami, Florida, an international city where most of the people speak Spanish.
According to the authors* of an article on the Gateway Florida website, “the Florida business community, its academic community and its political community are well-prepared to provide the facilities and infrastructure in Greater Miami to host the secretariat for Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas.”
So there will be no doubt where our leaders, both Republican and Democrat, are planning to take us, the authors of this article leave no doubt:
“Some will criticize Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas since they believe it is too modest in its objectives because it might be abandoning the broader version of a 34 country FTAA. In our judgment Western Hemisphere integration must start somewhere, and this is a good start. Remember, the European Union also started small. We hope that Brazil, Uruguay, the Caribbean countries and other countries in the Americas will soon join Pathways to Prosperity in the Americas.”
Jeb Bush is a supporter of the PPA, as are other Republicans and Democrats. *On the Gateway Florida site, the PPA article was put together by Democrat Donna Shalala, former Secretary of Health and Human Services under Clinton and Republican Ambassador Chuck Cobb, Under Secretary of Commerce under Ronald Reagan.
“Gateway Florida was created by Governor Charlie Christ and Florida FTAA was created by former Governor Jeb Bush to advocate the same integration in the hemisphere.” Jeb Bush is a leader in the goal of regional and global governance and the end of American sovereignty.
Currently the PPA has 14 member nations, counting the U.S., and each are connected to this initiative through individual trade agreements. But according to the Heritage Foundation:
“Ultimately, by building on the foundation of cooperation established under the auspices of the FTAs, the PPA could provide the impetus for merging individual agreements into a single, representative accord”…like that of the FTAA. “On a grander scale, success under the PPA could result in a new momentum for concluding a broader Free Trade Agreement of the Americas (FTAA).”
“Rather than trying to build an FTAA incorporating all nations in the Western Hemisphere, the incremental approach adopted under the PPA–involving only the most willing of countries–could be the means to forming a trade pact that eventually attracts all to participate.” ( The perpetrators of the EU and the North American Community also used the incremental approach and secret meetings, which effectively causes citizens to lose interest.)
Note that the North American Community, an integrated trading region of North America, was designed to be a model for the rest of the Western Hemisphere, to show everyone that these regionally governed trading zones could be successful. So far a world based on trade agreements has been a disaster-except for corporate CEOs and investors.
And for everyone to understand what the PPA trading region would be like under a trade accord similar to the FTAA, this is where each member Party (member nation) stands regarding sovereignty:
FTAA – Free Trade Area of the Americas, Draft Agreement, Chapter II General Provisions.
Scope of Obligations:
[4.1 Each Party is fully responsible for the observance of all provisions of the FTAA Agreement, and shall take such reasonable measures as may be available to ensure such observance by regional and local governments and authorities within its territory.]
[4.2 The Parties shall ensure that their laws, regulations, and administrative procedures are consistent with the obligations of this agreement. The rights and obligations under this agreement are the same for all Parties[, whether Federal or unitary States, including the different levels and branches of government], unless otherwise provided in this Agreement.]
This means that all governments in the United States; town, city, county, state and federal must not conflict with the rules and regulations of the trade agreement. If they do conflict, our federal government is responsible for all governments within the U.S. changing their laws, etc, to be in accord with the FTAA. Now the member “Parties” of the PPA will, likewise, have to defer sovereignty to the trade agreement of the Western Hemisphere once it is in place. And the secretariat will administer the region from Miami.
And Hillary Clinton is in charge of bringing about regional governance in the Americas. Anne Marie Slaughter, despite resigning from her post at the State Department, is still the person leading the effort to integrate North America and the Western Hemisphere. Slaughter is considered an expert on regional and global governance and is the author of the 2004 scholarly work, ‘The New World Order’.
The Army of the South:
The USNORTHCOM is the organization that will keep order on the integrated North American continent and the Army of the South, USSOUTHCOM, will maintain order south of Mexico. Their role is the same as that of USNORTHCOM but in corporate-run areas of South America, Central America and part of the Caribbean. The United States will be the leader of these two integrated military forces that will keep order for the corporate states of the Western Hemisphere.
The headquarters of USSOUTHCOM and the US Army Garrison Miami are in Doral, Florida. Southern Command’s area of responsibility encompasses 32 countries (19 in Central and South America and 13 in the Caribbean) and covers 14.5 million square miles.
The goal of the PPA is to integrate the Western Hemisphere as a commercial region, run by a trade agreement that would have sovereignty over much of what happens in the Americas.
On Feb. 2, 2006, General Bantz J. Craddock gave the keynote address at a SOUTHCOM Conference, “The Americas in the 21st Century: The Challenge of Governance and Security.”
“‘The focus of the conference…could not be more timely-and will certainly contribute to the dialogue among U.S. and regional government officials-media and military leaders about future directions for the region and-more importantly-how we apply national and international resources-both individually as nations as part of a multinational community-to best provide for our citizens.”
How do we make decisions when dealing with nations and regional governance or even global governance. For American soldiers, would their loyalty have to be to the corporate states of North America? American soldiers and their North American allies, the Canadians and Mexicans from USNORTHCOM, would have authority to engage American citizens in case of a civil war, should that become necessary.
In accordance with international law and the harmonization of the member nations’ trade agreements, the first and second amendments would eventually be deleted by the United States and the new official U.S. freedom of expression would be valid. A person who violates the freedom of expression faces up to 3 years in prison for hate speech in Europe, our new model for governance. Attempts to confiscate weapons is also on the agenda in the new world.
USSOUTHCOM personnel practice scenarios with agencies and the military of different countries in order to maintain the skills to respond to a situation anywhere in the southern part of the Americas. They train everywhere, from the mountains to the rivers and on the high seas. On June 18, 2011, military teams competed and learned to work together through training in Fuerzas Comando, which took place in El Salvador.
Training for USSOUTHCOM also takes place at Camp Bullis, Texas, where soldiers learn to fight together against any enemy on any battle ground.
This truly New World Order would be accomplished without the support of the American people and now it appears to be too late for an uprising against this illegal action against our sovereign nation.
Remember this. According to the World Social Service Forum of 2009, the population of North America would be 448 million people by 2050 while Latin America and the Caribbean would be 729 million. In the meantime the U.S. is in the process of forming one huge trade agreement for the Western Hemisphere. That would give corporations access to 1,177,000,000 potential cheap laborers for the hemisphere. It means much more unemployment for Americans.
A Question for Americans. Do you honestly think you will get a decent job, any job when CEOs are looking for the cheapest labor, labor they can hire in an instant, then fire them and hire some more from Guatemala or Bolivia. All of this will be taking place over the next 40 years. Think about it. Time is short.
Note: Embassy of the United States Panama: ‘We affirmed our commitment to conclude an ambitious agreement in the Doha Round of World Trade Organization negotiations,…to the long-term goals of free trade in the hemisphere…to continue to pursue other efforts to promote economic integration in the hemisphere, including through the Summit of the Americas process…” 2008
